Sospiro Winds is happy to announce its participation in Carnegie Hall/Weill Music Institute’s new program, Musical Connections. By providing access to live music, the Musical Connections pilot program aims to address the needs of people dealing with challenging social and emotional circumstances in shelters, prisons, hospitals, and senior centers. To address the particular needs of these diverse audiences, performing artists and ensembles present concerts, workshops, and residencies. Musical Connections offers an opportunity for program participants and staff members of the host organizations to interact with artists from all musical genres, sharing the social, physical, emotional, educational, and spirit-raising benefits of live music.
